本次鼓浪屿双钢琴比赛是按国际重要赛事标准设计的公益性赛事，赛事共分三轮：初赛、半决赛、决赛。

　　本次比赛共收到41组国内外选手报名。参赛选手均为专业选手，整体水平较高。选手中有音乐院校师生、欧美著名音乐院校留学归来的年轻钢琴家、施坦威艺术家、还有已在各类重要比赛中获奖的青年演奏家。

　　本次比赛每组选手三轮所需演奏的时长近两小时之多（初赛15分钟至25分钟，半决赛25分钟至30分钟，决赛40分钟至50分钟，半决赛与决赛的曲目不能重复）。因此对选手而言，无论技术、音乐理解、相互的默契配合以及对多种不同风格作品的积累，都是极大的挑战。

　　为确保赛事的公信力，比赛邀请了十一位国内著名钢琴家担任评委。经过公平、公正的评审，确定了18组选手进入半决赛，名单公布如下：

　　The 10th Kulangsu Piano Festival and the Kulangsu Piano Duo Competition

　　Announcement of the Semi-final Round Contestant List

　　This Kulangsu Piano Duo Competition is a public welfare event designed according to the standards of international important competitions. The competition consists of three rounds: preliminary round, semi-final round and final round.

　　A total of 41 groups of domestic and foreign competitors have registered for this competition. All the players are professional piano players with high level. Among the contestants are teachers and students from conservatory of music, young pianists from famous music schools in Occident, Steinway Artists, and young performers who have won awards in various important competitions.

　　In this competition, each group is required to play nearly two hours for three rounds (preliminary round: 15 minutes to 25 minutes, semi-final round: 25 minutes to 30 minutes, final round: 40 minutes to 50 minutes, and the repertoire in semi-final and final rounds should not be repeated). Therefore, it is a great challenge for the contestants upon technique, understanding of music, cooperation between partners, and accumulation of a variety of different styles of works.

　　In order to ensure the credibility of the competition, the competition invited eleven famous domestic pianists as judges. After a fair and impartial review, 18 groups of contestants have been selected for the semi-finals. The list is published as follows:
